This past Friday night I raced at GTRP in Beaumont, Texas. I started in the back in the heat with muddy track conditions so I was held up a bit and would only be able to muster up a 4th place finish. After the redraw I would be set to start on the outside poll next to Tracy Denby. At the drop of the green I would take the lead and never look back. We would run 20 caution free laps and bring home the victory. For the first time in a few years(actually since my second year racing 2003) my buddy Butch Martin was able to make it in from Spring, Tx to help out and catch a race. I was really glad he was there but on a sad note I was dissapointed my wife, kids and dad were not able to make it. Hopefully they will all be able to make it to a race to witness a Victory soon.
